Day 1 (posted on Day 2!!)

Okay, slight trouble getting on yesterday, but I think it's all worked out now! So day 1 was quite a success (Other than not getting online!) We really did have a great first day. This was the scene at about 4:30 am. Andrew woke up; Ally did AFTER I carried her out to the RV (love how that worked out!!). But about an hour later, the scene was a bit different; Andrew was barely able to make it to Jersey!















































But at about 12:30 in the afternoon, we pulled in to Natural Bridge, VA. We started out by going to the caverns. We went over 300 feet down into the Earth-it was 54 degrees, which felt GREAT!

After that, we went to Natural Bridge and saw the amazing Bridge, a replica of a Manican Indian village (where Ally so politely asked the girl if they had a smokehole in their house!), and saw a waterfall.

After hiking around there for a few hours, we headed back to the campsite where we cooked out, went to the pool, and celebrated the beginning of our trip with some sparklers!! (And yes Dad, we plan on bringing some home for next 4th of July!!)
